I am very pleased with Timber Tongs work. From assessing the tree getting the quote and performing the work.
Good communication through at the process and friendly staff.
The work itself did consist of removing a large tree (at least 18 m high) with several large branches hanging over the roof of the house. Most of the branches had to be lowered down with ropes.
It was also nice that a large part of the work was done with electric chainsaws that is much quieter than petrol chainsaws.
I would definitely use Timer Tongs again and I would recommend Timber Tongs for any tree work.

Not only was their quote competitive but they were true professionals not only in safely taking the tree down and thoughtful to the are surrounding ...greenhouse and shed! Very considerate of the environment and wildlife. Pete and his team took about 20 ft off a (in excess of) 50 ft Sycamore Tree.
There were high winds incoming so he increased the team to get the job done before incremental weather arrived. Area was left clean and tidy, autumn leaves blown away. They carried out a excellent job in my small garden, removing three large Oak trees, in a small amount of space, this was due to the close proximity of not only the trees, which had grown close to each other but other residential properties. First of Pete really is one of those chaps that is genuine, honest and very hard working.
We had a huge 80ft oak which was diseased and near the house plus a huge oak to the rear requiring reduction.
Pete turned up bright and early with a team of three plus himself and they did the whole lot in one day.
Returned the following day to grind the stump and clear away he also continued to grind other stumps on the property until he ran out of daylight.
I highly recommend Pete and would not hesitate to use him again.
